I've been a professional copywriter for over 15 years, so I know what I'm doing i.e., there's no learning curve, I'm quick and I'm accurate. The cost, which I quote before I start, is dictated purely by the length of time I believe I'm going to spend working on your behalf. To help put my fees in perspective, a crisp and polished sales letter would set you back the princely sum of £350 - £500 +VAT; a 12 page A4 brochure would be £1,000 - £1,250+VAT. And by the way, those costs allow for two sets of amendments to the first draft.
What does it cost?
My base charge is £500 a day +VAT.
When would I have to pay?
First job, 50% pro forma, balance on completion payable 31 days following date of invoice.

What does your charge cover?
The first draft and two sets of (moderate) amends
And if I really don't like what you write?
I'll waive the balance of the fee.
How would I brief you?
Ideally over the telephone and by e-mail - meetings are costly so I try to keep them to a minimum.

What do you need from me?
As much or as little as you want to give me.
How many changes can I make?
As many as you like, but all time spent making changes after the first two sets of amendments will be charged.
